When we shared news about closing the final funding gap for the clinical trial, the responses poured in.
Many of them carried a common thread: faith.
Brandon T. wrote:
“All Glory Honor And Praise To God! … I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR PROSPERITY AND GRACE UPON YOU ALL.”
Brandon T. (Thompson) echoed that encouragement:
“Amazing news! This is so great, God bless you, your family, your son and the difference you’ve been given the opportunity to help make!”
And Don C. shared:
“Just believe he’s going to get the help and life will be complete… I’ll do my part and help over time with little I have.”
We never take this lightly.
Whether someone expresses encouragement through prayer, hope, or quiet belief — it fuels us. Advocacy can be exhausting. Research can feel slow. Milestones take years.
But when someone writes, “I will continue to pray,” it reminds us that this mission extends far beyond our small team. It is held by thousands of hearts.
Michele put it beautifully:
“Wonderful news. With all the bad news being reported, this brightens my world.”
That sentence alone reminds us why we share updates. Hope is contagious. Progress matters — not just for Luke, not just for children with Bardet-Biedl Syndrome, but for people watching from the sidelines who need to see that perseverance works.
To everyone who sends prayers, encouragement, and belief: thank you.
Your words are not small. They are sustaining.
