One of the most powerful aspects of this mission is the way our community engages — not just emotionally, but thoughtfully.
When we asked for input about a potential “Second Chance” fundraiser after the Holiday Hybrid Dream Duo closed, the responses were practical, honest, and encouraging.
Jennifer A. wrote:
“In support of whatever you choose! It’s been a joy and honor donating to your foundation now and I’m on board with whatever you think is best! I love your mission!! What a testimony!!”
That trust means everything.
Tiffiny D. shared a deeply personal perspective:
“That would be absolutely great… Plus I think by running another contest you could gain more money for your foundation instead of just selling the cars.”
She went on to describe her own experience driving Toyotas and how reliable vehicles can change someone’s stability — even sharing how she’d love to help her mom get into a better car one day.
These messages remind us that behind every entry is a story. Behind every fundraiser is someone imagining how that prize might change their life — or someone else’s.
And beyond the vehicles and the excitement, there is clarity.
Jennifer S. said it beautifully:
“You guys are such an inspiration for the Rare Disease Community! You have literally moved mountains in a short amount of time! … We are all watching.”
We feel that responsibility.
We also feel the encouragement from supporters like Kate H. R., who wrote:
“THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!!!! … I have kept your family in my heart and have been amazed at the effort and dedication you have put forward.”
And from Joseph H., who reminded us:
“This made my heart smile today! … For taking a personal adversity and showing the strength to adapt and overcome… For letting your light shine, and by extension giving us the permission to also let ours shine!”
That might be one of the most meaningful reflections we’ve ever received.
Because this mission was born from adversity.
But it has grown because of community.
To everyone who offers thoughtful input, constructive encouragement, honest support, and personal stories — thank you.
You are not just donors.
You are participants.
You are advocates.
You are builders.
And together, we are doing something that once felt impossible.
