Over the past few years, through A Race Against Blindness, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with so many mothers.
Mothers who are strong in ways most people will never fully see.
Mothers who advocate, who show up again and again—no matter how heavy things feel.
Mothers who carry fear, hope, exhaustion, and love… all at the same time.
And I think about you often.
Because I’m one of those mothers too.
Lately, I’ve felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the people who carry so much of this journey.
And so many of them are moms.
It’s easy for that kind of strength to go unseen. The long nights, the constant decisions, the emotional weight—it doesn’t always have a place to be recognized.
But it matters.
So this Mother’s Day, I wanted to do something small.
Not a fundraiser. Not a campaign. Just a simple way to say thank you.
I’ve put together a Mother’s Day gift basket, curated personally, and we’ll be gifting it to one member of this community. Or, the winner can choose a $500 Target gift card instead.
Anyone is welcome to enter—whether it’s for yourself, or for a mom in your life.
If you feel led, there’s also a space to share a little about a mom who inspires you. I would truly love to read those.
We’ll keep this open through May 10 at 11:59 PM MST, and I’ll follow up shortly after.
More than anything, I just want to say this:
I see you.
I respect you.
And I’m so grateful to be part of a community filled with mothers like you.
With love and so much gratitude,
Kristina, Luke & Tyler's Mum
PS. As a small extra thank you, we’re also offering 10 free entries into any of our active fundraisers using code MOM10 at checkout. Valid thru 5/10/26 at 11:59 PM MST.

Thanks for the opportunity!
Definitely giving this to a special struggling Mom I know!
I am a mother of two wonderful children and it is absolutely the best job I have ever had. Recently I have made a career change to focus on that job, and I’m loving it. I’m so grateful to my own mother for given me the gift of her as well, even though she passed away 20 years ago, she is very near and dear to me, and inspires me as a mom daily!
Lost my mom to dementia a couple of years ago and my mil this year to dementia. This would be for my wife witch is a great mom
My mother was an amazing mother. Such an amazing example to her 7 children. Gracious, generous and loving to all. She never knew a stranger. I miss her everyday.
