Over the past few years, through A Race Against Blindness, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with so many mothers.
Mothers who are strong in ways most people will never fully see.
Mothers who advocate, who show up again and again—no matter how heavy things feel.
Mothers who carry fear, hope, exhaustion, and love… all at the same time.
And I think about you often.
Because I’m one of those mothers too.
Lately, I’ve felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the people who carry so much of this journey.
And so many of them are moms.
It’s easy for that kind of strength to go unseen. The long nights, the constant decisions, the emotional weight—it doesn’t always have a place to be recognized.
But it matters.
So this Mother’s Day, I wanted to do something small.
Not a fundraiser. Not a campaign. Just a simple way to say thank you.
I’ve put together a Mother’s Day gift basket, curated personally, and we’ll be gifting it to one member of this community. Or, the winner can choose a $500 Target gift card instead.
Anyone is welcome to enter—whether it’s for yourself, or for a mom in your life.
If you feel led, there’s also a space to share a little about a mom who inspires you. I would truly love to read those.
We’ll keep this open through May 10 at 11:59 PM MST, and I’ll follow up shortly after.
More than anything, I just want to say this:
I see you.
I respect you.
And I’m so grateful to be part of a community filled with mothers like you.
With love and so much gratitude,
Kristina, Luke & Tyler's Mum
PS. As a small extra thank you, we’re also offering 10 free entries into any of our active fundraisers using code MOM10 at checkout. Valid thru 5/10/26 at 11:59 PM MST.

My mom was diagnosed with dry macular degeneration in 2010.
My daughter & I moved in
with her to help her with certain things so she could try and live a somewhat normal life. If mom didn’t have Macular she would have been still driving in her 90’s. Mom went to heaven a couple years ago after a stroke at 98 yrs old.
Happy Mother’s Day in heaven Mom! ❤️😇
( I hope one day soon find a cure for dry macular, too! 🙏)
Happy mother’s day to all mothers. 💕 It’s a tough
job!
My wife for 33 years, she deserved the best for Mother’s Day, she does everything for our family no matter what.
My mom Gladys is and will ever be the best mom ever. She lived humbly after my dad passed in 2000 even though my dad made sure she would be taken care off when he was not around. Her biggest dream was to go to the Vatican, however never got to since she passed away with cancer at 69 years young. Too young! I will forever live by her legacy an example of a daughter herself, always making sure her mom (my grandmother) was well taken care off, sacrificing in ways people rarely do. She will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. Happy Mother’s Day in heaven, mom!
I’m getting married soon. To the best mom ever! Biggest heart I’ve ever seen, so good to the kids and me 💙 Happy Mother’s Day
