Jim M. from Florida won the Ultimate Pokémon Vault on May 10, 2026, after a three-week fundraiser that Luke picked the theme for, and chose the cash alternative.
What this fundraiser was
Every year we let Luke choose one prize. In 2024 it was a Shelby GT500. In 2026 it was a vault of sealed Pokémon products and graded cards, plus airfare, hotel and two Gold Passes to Card Party in San Diego, May 22 to 24, hosted by Deep Pocket Monster. Pokémon has been something our family shares at the kitchen table for years; this was the first fundraiser built around that.
The announcement
Jim was called live on Instagram and Facebook and chose the cash alternative, so the vault stayed with us and we met him over video rather than at Card Party. Steve and Luke still went to San Diego. No replay is published for this one.
How every winner is chosen
Enter for a chance to win. You can enter every RAB fundraiser for free. If you choose to donate, your donation funds sight-saving research.
Neutral administrator
A neutral third-party sweepstakes administrator runs every drawing. RAB does not pick winners.
Random drawing
After the entry period closes, the winner is drawn at random from all eligible entries.
Announced live
We call the winner live on Instagram and Facebook, so anyone can watch it happen.
Flown to Arizona
Vehicle winners are flown to Arizona for Winner Day to pick up the prize and meet our family. Winners who choose the cash alternative meet us by video.

Why we race
A Race Against Blindness is a family-founded 501(c)(3). It began with Luke's diagnosis of Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS). Today it funds rare-disease research and gene-agnostic therapies for children losing their sight to inherited retinal diseases.
