Announcing Our 🌼 Spring Fundraiser Benefiting Foundation Fighting Blindness

We are incredibly proud to announce our Spring 2026 fundraiser: Two Winners, One Drive for Vision Research.

From mid-March through early June, A Race Against Blindness will host a luxury vehicle fundraiser benefiting the Foundation Fighting Blindness, with proceeds earmarked to support research for pediatric inherited retinal diseases — including Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS).

This campaign means something deeper for us.

Pediatric inherited retinal disease — specifically Bardet-Biedl syndrome — is why A Race Against Blindness was founded. Our 12-year-old son, Luke, has retinitis pigmentosa caused by BBS. It is the reason we build, create, and fundraise.

Partnering during the Foundation’s VisionWalk season — when families across the country unite to accelerate research — feels both intentional and powerful.

Why This Partnership Matters

Since 1971, the Foundation Fighting Blindness has raised nearly $1 billion to drive prevention, treatments, and cures for inherited retinal diseases. Their work has supported groundbreaking advancements, including the first FDA-approved gene therapy for blindness.

This fundraiser allows us to support a nationally respected research leader while remaining rooted in our commitment to children affected by vision loss and BBS.

The Fundraiser

This life-changing fundraiser is made possible in part by Right Toyota and Westcott Designs, bringing two exceptional Toyota prizes to our supporters.

Two Grand Prize Winners

Each winner will receive one of the following:

  • 2026 Toyota Sequoia Capstone

  • 2026 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro

  • $25,000 cash with each vehicle

The first winner chooses their vehicle. The second winner receives the remaining prize.

We will publicly launch the campaign during the Arizona VisionWalk on March 22, and the fundraiser will conclude following the Bay Area VisionWalk on June 6, the final walk of the season.

We’ll be present at the Arizona VisionWalk with both vehicles and look forward to standing alongside families who share the same hope we do. 🧡

At the campaign’s conclusion, A Race Against Blindness intends to grant funds to the Foundation Fighting Blindness specifically earmarked to support sight-saving research for children affected by BBS and other pediatric inherited retinal diseases.

Two winners.
One drive.
A future with vision.
